Manor Solomon injury update in major Leeds United news v Cardiff
Manor Solomon is the “major” Leeds United injury doubt ahead of the Championship clash against Cardiff on 21 September, according to Adam Pope.
The BBC journalist reported via X on 19 September that the Israel international is suffering from a back problem after the defeat against Burnley.
Daniel Farke will have Patrick Bamford available though, and he is expected to be involved in the Welsh capital at some stage.
Manor Solomon major injury doubt for Leeds United
Leeds were forced into plenty of changes in the final third this summer, with the likes of Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter being sold.
The final third was the most affected by the transfer window and it’s yet to be known whether things have changed for the better.
While Solomon has had a decent start to life at Elland Road, his last outing against Burnley was certainly one to be forgotten.
His slip led to the matchwinner and has increased the pressure on Farke [Adam Pope, 18 September] going into the game with bottom-placed Cardiff.
With Dan James also out injured at Elland Road, it looks as though this could be a perfect chance for Largie Ramazani to show what he has from the start.
The Belgian winger has had to settle for two cameos off the bench so far and could get the nod from Farke in what could be a must-win game for the German.
