Manchester United team news v Leeds United: Five first-team players out
Erik ten Hag has confirmed that five Manchester United players will be missing the game against Leeds United on 12 February.
Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Antony, Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial will all be absent at Elland Road.
Antony, who’s played 21 games for the Red Devils this term in all competitions, missed the 2-2 draw as well and has not recovered in time for this game.
When asked about the five players, ten Hag told the club’s official website, “I don’t expect [them to be fit]. We have some days obviously, but I don’t expect it.”
There for the taking
Manchester United are clearly at a massive disadvantage with three of their midfield players set to miss this game.

Casemiro has been different class for them this season and without him, they’ve won just one Premier League game.
Eriksen is their eight that can make things happen and his absence too will cost the Red Devils dearly.
Leeds’ midfield pairing of Weston McKennie and Tyler Adams absolutely nullified the opposition midfield at Old Trafford and we’re expecting them to do the same at Elland Road as well.
Hopefully, the Whites attackers continue their rich vein of form and end up getting the job done against a team aspiring to finish in the top four.
We’re hoping to see a performance akin to the first half of the game in the midweek where Leeds dominated and scored two deserved goals.
