Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid have all made contact to sign Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips – report

Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester United have all enquired to sign Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips, according to the Daily Mirror.

The newspaper has reported in their print edition (07 February) that all three are circling as the Yorkshire Pirlo looks for a new contract at Elland Road.

It is suggested that Phillips is keener than ever to put pen-to-paper on a new deal, and is desperate to be handed improved terms.

This is inevitable.

All three clubs have been mentioned as those who are interested in taking Phillips away from West Yorkshire at some stage down the line.

With them now making contact for the 26-year-old, it looks as though these new contract developments are starting to affect his future.

Manchester United and Liverpool can watch Phillips with ease every week in the Premier League, but the EUROs certainly took his name across Europe and all the way to Madrid.

Leeds United

Get it done.

Andrea Radrizzani cannot afford to let this drag on any further.

It is inconceivable that the owners can’t be doing all they can to get Phillips to sign on the dotted line, but the latest updates appear to suggest that he is more than happy to do so.

So, what is holding this up?

Phillips deserves to be among the top earners at Elland Road, and Radrizzani along with the 49ers need to stump up the cash.

There are no excuses, now, and this contract, along with Raphinha has to be signed and sealed imminently.

We didn’t spend a penny in January, it’s time to put that left over money to good use by pinning down both Phillips and Raphinha – get it done.
