Manchester United decision to be made imminently on Dan James future
Manchester United are expected to make a decision imminently on the future of Dan James amid links with Leeds United.
Sky Sports have reported that the Red Devils will make their next move as soon as possible with the deadline in less than 48 hours.
It is suggested that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will allow the Welshman to leave on loan, with no mention of a permanent switch.
The Athletic initially reported late on Sunday that the Whites are interested and a permanent move was possible.
It was suggested by Adam Crafton that it would take a deal worth more than £20million to get it across the line.
With Cristiano Ronaldo closing in on a return to Old Trafford, it would make sense to offload James in the next couple of days.
The Welshman may have started two of the opening three games this season, but more regular game time could be available elsewhere.
Would that be at Leeds?
Marcelo Bielsa will be pushing this ahead in the next 24 hours, with it being no secret that he has always been a big fan.
James would add serious depth out wide behind Jack Harrison and Raphinha – something Helder Costa has failed to do.
The Welshman may struggle to get ahead of those two though, and it may take an injury in order for that to happen.
That is why it makes sense to get an initial loan deal sorted if possible, although some doubts have crept in.
