Manchester United and Chelsea keen on Leeds United target Sergio Gomez
Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly keen on signing Leeds United target Sergio Gomez.
According to Gazetta Dello Sport, Man United have already scouted the Anderlecht left-back ahead of a potential summer move.
TEAMtalk reported that the Whites were also keen on the 21-year-old as they were looking to find an upgrade on Junior Firpo.

Apart from the Premier League rivals, even Inter Milan have joined the race to sign the Spaniard.
They see him as a potential replacement for Ivan Perisic should he leave this summer.
Tough one
Leeds might have identified the right player, given the number of teams keen on him, but it is going to be difficult to sign him.
They cannot afford to pay top dollar like their Premier League rivals can.
This could mean that they may lose out on Gomez if one of the big teams makes a realistic approach to sign him this summer.

It is important that the Whites bring in a left-back as Firpo’s performances have been average at best.
He could improve next season, but that’s not a risk the club must take as they’re already fighting relegation and would survive by the slightest of margins if they successfully manage to avoid the drop.
Victor Orta must have some plan in place and alternatives lined up if the move for Gomez does not go through.
