Leeds United confirmed the permanent signing of Helder Costa from Wolves on Tuesday evening.
The Portuguese international made his loan switch permanent, putting pen-to-paper on a four-year contract at Elland Road.
BBC journalist Adam Pope reported that the deal is believed to be around £16million as Leeds make their first signing of the summer.
Costa reacted to the news on his personal Instagram account on Tuesday evening, admitting he was delighted to confirm his stay at Elland Road.
Many players from past and present in his career have reacted to the switch, with numerous of the Leeds squad delighted and some of his international teammates also reacting.
Manchester City star Joao Cancelo delivered a two-word message to Costa on the Instagram post on Tuesday, initially in Portuguese.
“Congratulations, bro,” he wrote translated.
Leeds have had a strong link with Manchester City throughout this season for numerous different reasons between the clubs.
First of all, the Whites have had success with loanee Jack Harrison, a move we all expect the club to also make permanent in the summer.
Marcelo Bielsa has a great relationship with both Benjamin Mendy and Aymeric Laporte (who have both been present at Elland Road this season) and Pep Guardiola.
Now, it’s Cancelo and Costa, who we all hope will be coming up against each other in the Premier League next season.
