Luke Ayling reacts to Stuart Dallas winning PFA Player of the Month for Leeds role

Leeds United star Stuart Dallas has been voted the PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Month award for his performances in April.

The Northern Ireland international was pushed into midfield by Marcelo Bielsa and excelled in an unbeaten six-game run against some of the biggest clubs.

The starring moment of the month was Dallas’ two goals against Manchester City which sealed a famous three points against the Champions-elect.

Luke Ayling has taken to his personal Instagram account to react to the news, and it was clear to see how delighted he was for one of his best friends.

“Love to see it,” he said.

Who would have thought when Dallas first arrived he would be playing this big of a role in the Premier League this season?

After being signed by Uwe Rosler, the utility man struggled for any minutes in the Championship, and Bielsa’s arrival changed that completely.

Barry Douglas was struggling for fitness at the time, and Dallas stepped up and has never looked back since that moment in his breakthrough campaign at Elland Road.

In his 30 starts this season, Dallas has already scored seven goals for the Whites; the same number as Jack Harrison and more than Raphinha.

This award is finally recognition for just how superb Dallas is playing, and he is really laying down the marker to be named the club’s player of the entire season, never mind just April.

Ayling is clearly a massive fan of Dallas, he has to join the long queue for the fan club.
