Luke Ayling reacts instantly to what Bamford has done ahead of Leeds v Bristol
Patrick Bamford has caught Luke Ayling’s attention ahead of Leeds United’s home game against Bristol City on Monday.
Leeds will host Bristol at Elland Road in their first Championship game since securing automatic promotion to the Premier League on 28 April.
While the Whites will be comparatively relaxed after achieving their primary target for the season, they still need a win to usurp Burnley at the top of the table on goal difference.
Meanwhile, Bamford will be hopeful of making his first Championship start of the season after making five consecutive appearances off the bench.

Ayling reacts to classy Leeds gesture from Bamford
While there may be question marks around Bamford’s credibility as a top-level striker, there are no doubts about his affection for Leeds.
The Englishman has proved it yet again by backing the Whites supporters with a £5,000 bar tab at the Old Peacocks opposite Elland Road ahead of Monday’s clash with Bristol.
The iconic pub took to Instagram on Monday afternoon to announce that Bamford has already paid for the fans’ first pre-match drink before the game.

Ayling was quick to react to the news, as he liked the said social media post. Another Leeds fan favourite, Mateusz Klich, was also among those who chimed in.
Meanwhile, the Peacock described Bamford’s act as a ‘big gesture’ from a ‘big fan favourite’.
Farke may not enjoy night at Elland Road
There is no doubt that everyone associated with Leeds is ready for another round of partying at Elland Road after their promotion was confirmed.
However, the same may not be true for Farke, who faces an uncertain future at Elland Road despite leading the Whites to promotion.
It has emerged that Paraag Marathe is flying in from San Francisco for the game ahead of holding talks with the German tactician over his future.
The Leeds hierarchy has already sounded out Giovanni van Bronckhorst and two others ahead of potentially sacking Farke.
He is therefore facing a harsh sacking decision in West Yorkshire.
