Luke Ayling and Raphinha spotted with Leeds team ahead of West Ham clash

Leeds United are still in search of their first Premier League win of the new season, and they will hope to get it against West Ham United.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have been dealt massive injury blows ahead of Saturday’s game at Elland Road against the Hammers, with the trio of Diego Llorente, Robin Koch and Patrick Bamford all ruled out.

Luke Ayling and Raphinha are also doubts for the game, but they were both spotted coming down from the team’s bus on Friday evening.

Leeds fan Clair took to her personal Twitter account to post a short clip of both players when they got off the coach.

She said: “Raphinha just got off the coach at DoubleTree.”

Ayling was unable to finish the game against Newcastle United last Friday, eventually limping off during the closing stages of the game.

While Stuart Dallas looked solid at right-back, having Ayling back in the position would be great, and he looked fit from the clip above.

Raphinha also got withdrawn, but he has been handed a call-up by Brazil for next month’s qualifiers, and that also confirms that his knock is not a serious one.

Bielsa would love to have both of them fit for West Ham’s visit, and arms are crossed ahead of Saturday.

Leeds’ injury crisis is a massive blow, but having the aforementioned duo return comes as a boost.

David Moyes’ side have been flying this term, and their quality squad depth was on display during the week as they dumped Manchester United out of the League Cup.

Unfortunately, the Whites do not boast of such luxury and will need to make do with some of their under-23s players in their matchday squad.
