Luis Sinisterra set to have Leeds United medical in few hours and join on five-year deal
Luis Sinisterra will reportedly be joining Leeds United on a five-year contract this summer from Feyenoord.
According to TYC Sports journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, the 23-year-old will have a medical in the next few hours on July 5 before signing his contract at Elland Road until June 2027.
He will be the second medical of the day at the club with Tyler Adams also completing it ahead of his move to West Yorkshire. [CBS Sports]
Via his Twitter account, Merlo wrote, “The winger 🇨🇴 Luis Sinisterra will play for Leeds. All agreed with Feyenoord, which will make the most expensive sale in its history, at € 25M plus 5 in bonuses (£21.5million+£4.5million). In the next few hours, medical review and ✍️ until June 2027.”
All set?
Leeds look in prime position to announce signings four and five as early as this week, by the looks of it.
Signing Sinisterra on a five-year deal is a signal of intent from Victor Orta as he’s managed to convince the Colombian to buy into the long-term vision at Elland Road.
Jesse Marsch is rebuilding this Leeds side after they lost Marcelo Bielsa and Kalvin Phillips with Raphinha set to follow him through the door.
This is a new-look side and getting in fresh, young players with the hunger and desire to play in the Premier League is the right thing to do.
We cannot wait to see how Marsch gets his team to play his brand of football as he’s succeeded in getting most of his signings.
This should not end the transfer activity for the summer but five signings are good enough to take to Australia for the pre-season tour.
In other Leeds United news, the club have now opened talks with an ‘Incredible’ title-winning central midfielder to replace Kalvin Phillips and sign him along with Tyler Adams.
