Luis Sinisterra, Liam Cooper and Sonny Perkins set for Leeds United return v Brighton

Leeds could be set for a triple injury boost ahead of their Premier League clash with Brighton with three players set to return, according to Leeds-Live.

The Whites have suffered with big injury problems over the course of the season, which has contributed to their standing towards the bottom of the table and being in a relegation battle.

But new manager Javi Gracia may be able to call upon a trio of players for the first time since his appointment when they host Brighton at Elland Road on Saturday (11 March).

Luis Sinisterra, Liam Cooper and youngster Sonny Perkins are all expected to be available for the game after time on the sidelines through injury, with all three listed as having a return date of March 11.

However Adam Forshaw, Stuart Dallas and Rodrigo are all expected to miss the game with long-term injuries.

Boost

Cooper has been a bigger miss than many people expected in defence since going down with an injury, and his return will certainly bring leadership and quality back into the side.

It would also allow for Max Wober to move across to left-back where he was signed for, and would ultimately just help the club be more solid defensively across the board.

In attack scoring goals has been a problem, and Sinisterra was one of those players signed in the summer to help replace the goals and assists of Raphinha and the struggling Patrick Bamford.

But his injury problems have hampered him and his impact has been minimal. His quality is undeniable now and if he is fit and ready to step back into the side to help, that would be a huge boost.

As for Perkins, an extra striker option is great to have and he has proven that he is capable of affecting games from the bench like he did in the FA Cup. Options are a good thing, and Gracia could finally have some.
