Luis Sinisterra in line to face Manchester United in Oslo after Leeds United ace makes pre-season return
Leeds United ace Luis Sinisterra could be in line to face Manchester United in their pre-season friendly clash on Wednesday (12 July), according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The winger missed the latter stages of the most recent Premier League campaign after suffering ankle ligament damage in the 1-1 draw with Leicester City in April.
But he has since made a return to pre-season training, with the Yorkshire Evening Post noting that manager Daniel Farke could take him to Oslo for the clash with the Red Devils.

“Sinisterra returned from his summer break in Colombia on Monday and was back into work with head of medicine and performance Rob Price and the medical team, as he progresses towards full fitness,” according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
“It’s possible that Daniel Farke will consider taking the winger to Oslo in midweek for the game against Manchester United, if his ankle reacts well to the latest training efforts.”

Great news
Leeds really did miss the winger in the final matches of the season, with Sinisterra really finding his feet before his injury, having just scored three goals in five matches.
The £21million signing from Feyenoord last summer endured an injury-hit debut campaign at Elland Road, but this latest development is finally some good news for the player and for Leeds fans, who will be desperate for the winger to stay fully fit next season.
The Whites need all the help they can get next time out in what is certain to be a difficult Championship campaign, with Sinisterra definitely possessing the ability to be a crucial player at Elland Road in the club’s search for immediate promotion to the top flight.
A start against Premier League giants Manchester United may come too early for Sinisterra, but minutes on the pitch would be a fantastic step in his recovery towards full fitness.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are trying their luck on a deal to sign an “extremely smart” defender, but the selling club wants a permanent move for the player.
