'Love to have' - Bamford full of praise for Leeds star who is 'Nightmare to play against'
If there were any separate highlights outside of the crazy result between Leeds United and Birmingham, it was Patrick Bamford.
The forward made the trip to St Andrew’s on Sunday but was forced into commentary duties after missing out with a dead leg.
He gave plenty of insight into his teammates throughout the game, and couldn’t help but scream when the Whites finally scored the winner.
Bamford did comment on Ezgjan Alioski though, opening up on his excitable personality and how other players react to his ways when they meet with the Whites.
“Literally every time we play against someone and I have someone in that team I know, they always ask me ‘why is he like that?’,” said Bamford.
“He’s one of those players that you love to have on your team but he’s a nightmare to play against.”
This makes total sense, as even Leeds fans sometimes question Alioski and some of the strange things he does such as shaking the tunnels at stadiums before the warm-up
Concentrating on things on the pitch though, and Alioski has been superb since moving deeper to left-back. The Macedonian international never stops running and a nightmare is the perfect way to describe him as players just have to follow him for 90 minutes.
Bamford is clearly a big fan of the utility man, and he has been a great servant to the club recently with him being able to play a number of roles including the middle of the park.
