Liam Cooper sends Insta message to Leeds United starlet Cody Drameh

Liam Cooper has praised Cody Drameh after he made his Premier League debut for Leeds United against Norwich City.

The Whites captain posted a story on his Instagram account in which he lauded the 19-year-old after he was brought off the bench to replace Jamie Shackleton.

Cooper congratulated Drameh on his debut and claimed that he was “the future”.

Big day for Drameh.

It has been a huge week for the right-back as he made his first-team debut against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup in midweek, and then he made his Premier League debut.

Shackleton went off injured, which meant that Drameh came on for the last 19 minutes and clearly impressed Cooper with his display as the Whites sealed a huge win.

This result moves them three points clear of the relegation zone, and though there is a long way to go, they have some breathing room, which can only benefit them in the long run.

Drameh played a part in securing that win and looks very comfortable in the first team at Leeds.

It is nice of Cooper to send this message to him, and you would think that the former Fulham man will be very appreciative of the public backing from the captain.

Certainly, the future looks bright for Drameh, and it will be intriguing to see how many more first-team games he plays this season.
