Lewis Jones predicts Leeds clash v Burnley
Lewis Jones has backed Burnley to beat Leeds United in their Premier League clash on Sunday afternoon.
The Sky Sports expert has predicted that it will finish 3-2 at Turf Moor, leaving the Whites with one point from three games.
Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping for a re-run of this fixture last season, where his side ran away with it towards the end of the campaign.
Writing in his Sky Sports prediction column, Jones has predicted that it will be a lightning start at Turf Moor.
“This should be an entertaining watch,” he wrote.
“Burnley are struggling for form, it must be said. Sean Dyche’s men have lost nine of their last 11 Premier League games, including the last five. However, they aren’t performing like a team posting relegation numbers.
“With Leeds happy to play at a high tempo and swing for the ropes at every opportunity, the chances of this one sparking early seem pretty likely to me.”
Can’t see it.
There may have been goals galore in our opening two Premier League games yet again, but things are set to change.
Diego Llorente returned in midweek and the Spaniard offers so much more in defence to the likes of Liam Cooper who have struggled.
Bielsa will have his full-strength side available to him for the first time in months, counting pre-season too and that will likely see a different Leeds.
This is a perfect opportunity to get off the mark this season, and if the Whites can cut out the threat of set-pieces, they stand a great chance.
