Leroy Rosenior: Illan Meslier is destined for greatness
Sky Sports pundit Leroy Rosenior believes that Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier is “destined for greatness”.
The 21-year-old has been a mainstay in Marcelo Bielsa’s side over the last two seasons and has been the club’s undisputed number one.
His performances have also seen him make the U-21s side for France and he appears to be getting better with each passing game for Leeds.

Discussing his impact on Premier League Fanzone, Rosenior said, “I think Meslier is destined for greatness. He is a brilliant goalkeeper.”
Sky-high potential
Meslier is only 21 but plays with the maturity of a goalkeeper who’s in his peak.
The calmness he shows when he’s got the ball at his feet is second to none and his distribution is also impressive for someone his age.
While he’s got all the aspects of a good modern-day goalkeeper, he also does the basics that are expected from him.

He’s a terrific shot stopper and has bailed the Whites out on several occasions over the last two seasons.
We believe that he’s got it in him to not just become the best goalkeeper in the club’s history but also become the undisputed number one for France.
Right now, the fight is between him and Alban Lafont, and we believe that he is better than the Nantes goalkeeper.
He has started every Premier League game thus far, and bar the rare blunder against Burnley, he has been seamless.
