Leicester City star raves about ‘quality’ Leeds United ahead of showdown on Friday
Leicester City star Mads Hermansen has raved about Leeds United ahead of the clash between the two sides on Friday (3 November).
Speaking on Thursday (2 November) to CITY, the Foxes’ official matchday publication, the Danish keeper said he is aware of the “quality” the Whites have as the two relegated outfits prepare to go head-to-head at the King Power Stadium.
The 23-year-old added that Daniel Farke’s side will press high and try to “make life difficult”, but that his side feel like they have some “good solutions” after the impressive form the Championship leaders have shown in the opening few months of the season.

“We know what Leeds are coming with and we know the quality that they have,” said Hermansen. “We know we have to be sharp and stick to our game plan. They will probably come and press us high to try to make life difficult for us.
“We just need to keep our calm to keep finding the right solutions in the same way we have done throughout the season. The only thing we can really control is our own performance so we’ll see what the outcome and result will be. We feel like we have some good solutions so we’ll do everything we can to make them work.”
Test
This will be by far the biggest test that Leeds have faced this season as Leicester have had an incredible start to the campaign after picking up 13 victories from their opening 14 games.
They currently sit 14 points above the Whites and look a certainty to regain promotion back up to the Premier League under Enzo Maresca.
Hermansen has played a major role in the Foxes’ early-season success, having featured 13 times and kept five clean sheets since signing from Danish side Brondby over the summer.

But the Whites have had a strong start to the campaign, too, and they will be confident that they can go to the King Power and claim a positive result on the back of their recent form.
It will certainly be a difficult game, but it will provide Farke with a good indication of where his side is currently at as they look to challenge for promotion this season.
