Fabrizio Romano reacts to Crysencio Summerville Instagram post after Leeds United win v Liverpool

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has had his say on Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville’s heroic efforts against Liverpool on Saturday evening.

Virtually no one gave the Whites a chance of picking up points against Liverpool and the game was viewed as potentially Jesse Marsch’s last.

Summerville’s winner gave Leeds the deserved win on the night and he posted a celebratory picture on his Instagram, to which Romano replied.

“Words can’t describe my feeling right now, I pray every day and thank god for moments like this. Thanks to the amazing fans for the support. Big Team performance, big win,” wrote Summerville on Instagram.

To which the Italian journalist replied, “Top.”

Summerville is rated highly by Leeds United as confirmed by Romano in a Tweet after their historic 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield.

Coming of age.

The Dutch winger’s performance against Liverpool was phenomenal and a coming-of-age outing that will send shockwaves through the Premier League.

Summerville has made a major impact in the last three games for Leeds United and has looked extremely solid in sloppy outings from the Whites.

It was a statement of intent by Leeds to give Summerville their number 10 shirt, hopefully, this is the start of him repaying their faith.

Summerville’s link-up play with Wilfried Gnonto is also something to look out for, the duo looked comfortable threading balls through to each other.

It was nice to see the youngster finally get his chance to shine and it was clear in his celebrations how much the moment meant to him.

Whether the winger will be trusted by Marsch on more outings now remains to be seen, he had only featured in 82 minutes of play before the Leicester game.

Nevertheless, he can become a useful cog inside Marsch’s setup and one he should exploit more often.
