Leeds United winger Raphinha not being pursued by Manchester United – reliable journalist
Manchester United are not pursuing a deal for Leeds United winger Raphinha this summer, according to Manchester Evening News journalist Samuel Luckhurst.
The Brazilian winger has been heavily linked with an exit from Elland Road this summer, with Barcelona said to be leading the chase for his signature [Sport].
However Manchester United are unlikely to join the chase for his signature according to reliable journalist Luckhurst, who says the only Leeds player they’re interested in is Kalvin Phillips.

Responding to a fan question during a Q&A about whether the 25-year-old could be a target for the right-wing position this summer, his reply was pretty emphatic.
“I suspect if they follow through with their interest in and work on Phillips then they won’t pilfer any more players from Leeds,” he said.
Inevitable
Manchester United seem to get linked with every player that plays professional football during transfer windows, so it’s no surprise Raphinha is on that list now too.
It seems inevitable that the Brazilian will leave the club this summer and because of United’s previous history with Leeds when it comes to transfers, there was always a possibility.

But with no Champions League football at Old Trafford next season, it would be a big surprise to see him move to a rival when he has other options.
Barcelona seems like a match made in heaven, but with Ousmane Dembele’s future up in the air there’s every chance that doesn’t happen either.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle, West Ham and others have been linked in the past but it’s pretty clear now that there is more chance of seeing him in a Leeds shirt next season than a Man United one.
