Leeds United will decide on Jack Harrison future after £20m Leicester bid made
The Athletic journalist David Ornstein is reporting that Leicester City have made a £20m bid to sign Leeds United winger Jack Harrison in the last week.
Ornstein has claimed that Leeds United are now debating whether to sell Harrison or offer the 26-year-old a new and improved contract.
The journalist shared that it isn’t yet clear if Harrison is in favour of the move to the Foxes, something which will likely play a pivotal role in the club’s decision.
“Leicester City made £20m offer last week to sign Jack Harrison from Leeds United,” said Ornstein on Twitter. (28 January, 1:20 PM)
“Leeds United deciding whether to sell or keep & tie down to new contract (current deal ends 2024). Also unclear if 26yo winger in favour of move or not.”

It’s just another day in the life of Leeds and another transfer bombshell dropped by Ornstein as a not so welcomed treat to West Yorkshire.
But would Leeds United actually entertain this offer? We all know, Jesse Marsch is a big fan of Harrison and the winger certainly adds firepower to the Whites’ attack.
It’s just whether or not the club’s hierarchy sees this as a golden opportunity to recoup some of the funds the team have spent so far this month.
Especially on a player who isn’t a guaranteed starter week in and week out in Marsch’s outfit, this might actually end up being a transfer story to keep an eye on.
With deadline day looming it may be a tough one to get over the line in time, especially with Harrison playing for Leeds today in the FA Cup.
Harrison’s goal against Accrington Stanley today may have even given him another lifeline at Elland Road.
