Leeds United: Welsh media blown away by Dan James performance v Gibraltar last night
Leeds United ace Dan James played for Wales in their comfortable victory over Gibraltar on Wednesday (11 October).
The 25-year-old came off the bench for the injured Wes Burns on 15 minutes and set up two goals to help his country to a 4-0 win at The Racecourse Ground.
Two goals from Kieffer Moore were complimented by strikes from Ben Davies and Nathan Broadhead as the Whites forward played the rest of the game after coming on.

Welsh media has since reacted to James’ performance against Gibraltar, with the Daily Post extremely complimentary of the winger, as it claimed on page 47 of its print edition on Thursday (12 October) that he was “causing havoc” and delivered a “perfect cross” for Moore to head home the fourth goal of the game.
On page 41 of the Western Mail, the newspaper reported the Welshman would have capped off a “solid performance” had it not been for the woodwork after he saw a left-footed effort bounce back off the post towards the end of the second half.
WalesOnline was just as impressed by his display, adding that it was a “good night” for the winger after he came off the bench early on to give his side an “added injection of energy out wide” by creating two goals for his teammates.
Confident
There is quite a bit of confidence running through James at this moment in time and that was clear to see by his performance for Wales against Gibraltar.
He was a constant threat after coming on for Burns on the left-hand side of the forward line and looked to take his man on at every opportunity.
The winger showed excellent creativity to record two assists for his side and he was extremely unfortunate to not get on the scoresheet himself when his shot came back off the post.

The Welshman has been in decent form for Leeds so far this season, registering one goal and four assists to help his side compete at the top end of the Championship table.
He will be hoping his performance against Gibraltar will have been enough to earn him a place in the Wales starting lineup for the game against Croatia on Sunday (15 October).
In other Leeds United news, a BBC pundit was awestruck by what one “outstanding” player did against Bristol City.
