Leeds United want to sign Ryan Fraser after Eddie Howe bust-up at Newcastle United
Leeds United want to sign Newcastle United winger Ryan Fraser in the current transfer window, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The newspaper noted that the 29-year-old is expected to leave the Magpies this summer, with both Leeds and Southampton showing an interest.
Fraser was limited to just eight matches in the Premier League last season, with the publication noting that the winger fell out with Newcastle boss Eddie Howe.

“Ryan Fraser looks set to leave, with Southampton and Leeds interested,” according to the Sunday Mirror (page 74, 9 July).
“He did not figure after October and was told to train with the kids after falling out with Howe.”

Not a bad option
Fraser should be desperate to leave Newcastle this summer after a very frustrating campaign, with the attacker barely featuring for the Magpies first team due to his relationship with Howe and a serious hamstring injury.
And his time on the pitch looks set to decline further next season due to his club’s likely ambitions to sign world-class talent as they look to hit the ground running in the Champions League.
Fraser will perhaps want to stay in the Premier League, but regular game time would be on offer at Elland Road, which may help persuade the attacker to join the Whites this summer.
However, as with most of the club’s targets, Leeds are not the only club showing an interest, with relegated Southampton also keen to strengthen following their demotion to the Championship.
Fraser has proven himself at times against some top defenders over the years, and should still have more than enough in the tank at just 29 to be a dangerous player for the Whites next season.
