Leeds United want to sign Milos Kerkez as Benfica and Borussia Dortmund in transfer race
Leeds United are one of three Premier League clubs who want to sign AZ Alkmaar left-back Milos Kerkez in the summer, according to Record.
Wolves and Brentford have also taken a shining to the 19-year-old, who is also being courted by Benfica and Borussia Dortmund to name some from Europe.
The Portuguese newspaper has reported in its print edition [28 February, pg 16] that Kerkez would be pleased with a move to Benfica and the opportunity to fight for titles.

“Fighting for titles and gaining visibility to make the jump to more powerful leagues are trumps that the winger sees in the reds,” they wrote.
“Given in sight, three goals and five assists, and around the interest of various emblems. According to Record, the player is being followed by several clubs, with the French of Nuce being those who seem willing to offer better financial terms to the player.
“The echoes of the young man’s good displays have prompted interest in England (Leeds, Wolverhampton and Brentford).”

One to Watch.
This would certainly make perfect sense for Leeds.
Junior Firpo may have shot onto the scene again with his goal against Southampton and return to fitness in recent weeks under Javi Gracia, but he has some way to go before proving himself again.
Should that happen, the Whites still need another option with Pascal Struijk hopefully going back to that central role where he would likely be much more comfortable.
Kerkez would be another attacking full-back option, something that would favour Gracia should he stay on in his role too, as we all saw this past week, he loves his defenders to bomb forward when they can.
The problem comes with the competition, with the likes of Benfica and Dortmund challenging for titles, something that Leeds cannot offer right now – unless they drop to the Championship.
The Premier League has its ways of persuading players though, so it would be stupid to rule this one out, with a keen eye being kept on this one across the coming months.
