Leeds United want to sign Fenerbahce striker Mergim Berisha
Leeds United are interested in making a move for Fenerbahce striker Mergim Berisha this summer, according to Turkish journalist Ahmet Selim Kul.
The Whites have been in the market to sign a player to strengthen the attacking department ahead of the next campaign.
However, ASpor editor Yusuf Basyesil in a tweet shared Selim Kul’s work where he stated that Leeds are monitoring the situation regarding the player who produced his best numbers under current manager Jesse Marsch.
Attacking Option
Coming into this summer transfer window, the biggest concern for Leeds was their defence and midfield and the club’s hierarchy has done a lot of work to address those issues.
Despite making a lot of signings, it still seems like the Whites are a few players short in making it a successful window.
After losing Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha to Manchester City and Barcelona respectively, it seems like the window might not be over for Marsch’s men unless they find at least few more players in the attacking department.

The Germany U21 international might proved to be the perfect player to fill that void as he has already worked with the current Leeds manager during their days at RB Salzburg.
In the 2021-22 season with Fenerbahce, Berisha scored four goals and provided one assist in 22 league appearances. However, he only started in 10 of those. He averaged 1.5 shots and 0.7 key passes per game in the Turkish League [Whoscored].
