Leeds United want to sign Colombian winger Julian Quinones
Leeds United have thrown their hat into the ring in the race to sign Atlas FC winger Julian Quinones, according to Foot Mercato.
The 25-year-old enjoyed his best season to date in 2021-22 as he helped his side win the Mexican Clausura division as well as the Champion of Champions game.
His biggest success for Atlas came in the semi-final of the competition where his hat-trick almost single-handedly sent them through to the final.

Jesse Marsch is said to be intrigued by the Colombian Under-20 international and Victor Orta is now in the hunt for his signature along with Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.
He now has desires to play in Europe after dominating North America and Elland Road could be where he heads next.
Excitement overload
Leeds United have already gone out and signed one Colombian wing wizard this summer in Luis Sinisterra but that clearly is not enough to satisfy Marsch, Orta and Andrea Radrizzani.
Especially after the ex-Feyenoord speedster picked up an injury during pre-season which could well rule him out of the start of the 2022-23 Premier League season.

Quinones will be a complete unknown to the vast majority of fans, scouts, players and managers in the Premier League but maybe that is why he needs to be signed.
If defenders don’t know what they are up against, they may come to be surprised when he pulls out his bag of tricks and they won’t have a clue how to stop him from tearing the league to pieces.
That is what made Raphinha so good for us before his move to Barcelona and this would be another bit of genius transfer business from Orta if the 25-year-old ends up wearing the white of Leeds this season.
In other Leeds United news, patience would be a good thing in the chase of this German left-back as his club put his sale on hold due to injury.
