Leeds United want to sign Barcelona attacker Ez Abde in potential player swap deal
Leeds United have reportedly named Barcelona sensation Ez Abde in negotiations with the Catalan club to make operations cheaper.
According to Sport, the Whites have mooted the idea of including the 20-year-old in discussions with Barcelona to use him as a sweetener in one of their deals.
The Moroccan made his debut for them this past season and even managed to find the back of the net in the 2-2 draw against Osasuna.
Leeds appear to be in discussions for just one player with Barcelona and that’s Raphinha.
The Whites securing promotion means that the Champions League outfit will now have to pay at least twice of what they would’ve had they gone down.
Their financial issues are well documented and they may not be able to afford his services this summer.
Leeds are aware of it but also know that the Brazilian wants to move to Camp Nou and they’re unlikely to stand in his way.
Abde could be a decent young option to have in the squad but it doesn’t look like Barca are keen on letting him go.
However, if they’re desperate to sign Raphinha, then this could be a trade they may have to make in order to acquire their preferred attacking option.
Currently, Leeds sit in a position of power and do not need to be too fussed about what Barcelona can or cannot do this summer.
