Leeds United v Norwich City predicted XI: Archie Gray to be axed by Daniel Farke

Leeds United will be looking to maintain their place in the top six when they visit Carrow Road to take on Norwich City on 21 October.

The Whites sit in fifth place and could end the weekend as high as third if they win and results elsewhere go in their favour.

Norwich too, are within touching distance of the play-offs, so it’s not going to be an easy game for Leeds in Norfolk.

Leeds are still some way away from the top two but these are the sort of games they should be winning.

Archie Gray played as a right-back in the final game before the international break but Luke Ayling could come back in for this one.

Gray has been in form playing in midfield and also did a fairly decent job at right-back but did not hug the touchline as one would expect from an orthodox right-back.

The other change could be Jaidon Anthony coming in for Crysencio Summerville as the former was 50-50 for the game against Bristol City.

He did come off the bench in the second half and now seems ready to start a game and with a midweek fixture there too, Farke may name him in his eleven.

Leeds beat Bristol 2-1 recently but a game against Norwich away from home is going to be a trickier proposition undoubtedly.

In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay claims that big European clubs have been keeping tabs on a Whites player for a while and are still willing to sign him.
