Leeds United v Bournemouth: Sky Sports pundit left awestruck as Crysencio Summerville footage emerges
Andy Walker was blown away by Leeds United striker Crysencio Summerville after he scored the winner to beat Bournemouth 4-3.
After being down and out at half-time and going 3-1 down early in the second half, Jesse Marsch’s side managed to turn things around to pick up three points.
Summerville, like he did against Liverpool, scored a late winner for the Whites and sent Elland Road into ecstasy.
Speaking on the Premier League world feed (05/11, 15:05), Walker, a Sky Sports pundit, said, “This is breathtaking. What a brilliant contribution from Gnonto. No wonder the home support are standing and applauding this magnificent performance. Fireworks all over this stadium.”
There were boos at half-time and things became even more dire when the score was at 3-1 in favour of Bournemouth.
However, credit to Marsch, he brought Sam Greenwood and Willy Gnonto off the bench and they managed to turn things around.
Greenwood scored a wonderful goal while Gnonto provided the assist for Summerville’s winning goal.
However, the Man of the Match was definitely the Dutchman who started it all by winning a first-minute penalty.
With so many players going off in the game, Marsch decided to keep him on and it certainly was the right thing to do.
Marsch lives to fight another day and with two wins a row, he’s clearly showing that the board have been right to be patient with him.
In other Leeds United news, a Sky Sports pundit has delivered Jesse Marsch’s “sack” verdict after what he heard last month.
