Leeds United update on Willy Gnonto and Jack Harrison as Everton target Manchester United attacker Anthony Elanga

Everton are reportedly closing in on Manchester United attacker Anthony Elanga over moves for Leeds United duo Willy Gnonto and Jack Harrison.

According to Football Transfers journalist Jacque Talbot [13 July], while they are keen on both Gnonto and Harrison, the priority is the Sweden international.

It’s understood that there is confidence at Goodison Park in securing a deal for the 21-year-old soon.

Try keeping both

Gnonto and Harrison have both been linked with the Elland Road exit door this summer and if they stay, are going to be among the first names on the team sheet.

The Italy international took time to be given his debut but once he showed everyone what he was about, fans wanted to see more of him.

The Championship does seem tailor-made for a player of his calibre and he can rack up impressive numbers if he decides to stay.

The same can be said about Harrison, who showed in the Premier League too, that he’s capable of having moments of brilliance.

Hopefully, Daniel Farke can have honest conversations with the duo and convince them to stay on at Elland Road.

Everton may not have the funds to even sign another wide player after Elanga so their interest should not be of much worry for Leeds.

In other Leeds United news, the club have been handed a boost to sign a Manchester United player this summer with Erik ten Hag likely to sanction his exit.
