Leeds United ‘unlikely’ to land £10m Rasmus Kristensen cash boost – Sky Sports pundit
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…
Paul Robinson believes that Leeds United will do very well to recoup the £10million they paid for Rasmus Kristensen during the 2022 summer window.
The Guardian’s Fabrizio Romano reported on 25 June (via Twitter) that the 25-year-old has agreed personal terms with Roma and that a deal with the Serie A side is advancing.
Roma Today claimed on 25 June that an £8.5million permanent option could well be included in any loan agreement with the Whites.

However, Robinson feels the board will do well to land near the £10million mark for the underwhelming right back.
“Obviously it was a big outlay and with Leeds not in the Premier League, their bargaining power is not particularly strong,” Robinson exclusively told MOT Leeds News.
“There definitely needs to be a clearout – a changing of the guard. The dressing room needs – to an extent – an overhaul.

“With Kristensen and with others, they will be very unlikely to recoup what they’ve paid. When you’re in the Premier League you’re paying Premier League prices, when you fall out of it, people come shopping in the Championship for your top-flight players.”
Kristensen featured 26 times for Leeds during the 2022/23 season scoring three goals and registering one assists.
In other Leeds United news, the club are set to react to an impending Elland Road exodus with “ambitious” incoming transfer plans.
