Leeds United: Tyler Adams calls out Jesse Marsch after footage emerges
Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams has called out Jesse Marsch for his terrible celebrations that have been captured by cameras this season.
The footage in question was the classic hand waving at Liverpool after that famous 2-1 victory at Anfield, which has clearly been seen by the squad at Thorp Arch.
Adams admitted that it was “honestly terrible” from the gaffer, who clearly has a great bond with the players within his squad, despite pressure building at that stage.
Speaking in an interview with Men In Blazers on YouTube in the past 48 hours, Adams was very sweet and sharp with his response to the footage everyone has seen.
“I have seen it,” he said.
“I have no explanation for it. Can’t defend it, can’t root for it. I have no idea what it was, that was just honestly terrible.”
The harmony in this squad is sky-high yet again, and the past two wins have helped that massively.
Even when things weren’t going right though, the message coming from the club and the squad was that they all believed the wins would come, and they were right.
Marsch will have felt instant relief when Crysencio Summerville found the net at the end of the Liverpool showdown, and the rest was simply adrenaline.
The American has the squad behind him and it has helped him get out of the massive hole he was in, now it is all eyes on the Spurs clash on Saturday 12th November.
Adams will not mind at all if we see another “terrible” celebration from the boss if it means going into the World Cup break with another three points.
Spurs aren’t exactly playing free-flowing football and the Whites have played their best football against the top-six so far, bring it on in the capital.
