Leeds United transfer update emerges on pursuit of defenders, midfielders and attackers
Leeds United are looking to add to their firepower this summer after securing the services of Ethan Ampadu from Chelsea, according to the Irish Daily Mail.
The media outlet claim [26 July, Page 50] that the Whites want to sign two centre-backs, two midfielders, a keeper, a winger and a striker before the window shuts.
They’re understood to be keen on signing Liverpool defender Nat Phillips along with Swansea striker Joel Piroe.

Get going
The new season is just around the corner and the Whites have just made one major signing this summer.
The delays are understandable as they had to deal with the takeover and finding a new manager but that’s been done and things need to accelerate.
Phillips has been linked with a move to Elland Road for a while but there does not seem to be any progress on signing the Liverpool man.

Piroe had a good goal-scoring campaign and he could be an important acquisition should the Whites secure his services.
Patrick Bamford has proven to be unreliable both in terms of his fitness and his form, so it makes sense to sign a new striker.
They do want a wide attacker as well so it seems like Willy Gnonto, Jack Harrison, or Crysenscio Summerville could be leaving the club.
