Leeds United transfer on the cards to sign ‘integral’ forward Julian Quinones
Leeds United are a “possible” destination for Atlas forward Julian Quinones, but the Mexican club have received no approach for the 26-year-old, according to Soy Futbol.
The attacker has netted 15 goals for Atlas this season, with Serie A clubs Sampdoria and Torino also reportedly interested in his services.
But no approach has been made for the player, who is capable of playing centrally or out wide.

“Julian Quinones has sounded like a possible reinforcement for clubs like Leeds United, Sampdoria and Torino, although no approach with the club has materialised,” according to Soy Futbol.
Speaking about the player, Atlas head coach Benjamin Mora said: “Since before I met him, he seemed like a very interesting player, unbalancing. Later, when I met him, I discovered that he is an integral boy, with a winning, competitive mentality.
“In terms of tactics, he will have to adapt a little if he wants to go to elite football, where perhaps his teammates and the leagues themselves will demand it in many ways.”

Difficult summer ahead
Leeds have certainly not gotten all of their transfer dealings right in recent times, with club-record signing Georginio Rutter proving to be a disappointment in these early stages.
In terms of outgoings, Leeds have lost the likes of star players Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips, and could be on the verge of losing young winger Willy Gnonto if they aren’t careful.
Much of their dealings this summer could, of course, be out of their hands should the Whites suffer relegation to the Championship.
Many high-profile players currently at the club will not want to drop down a division, while it will be difficult for Victor Orta to persuade any talented players to join the club in what would be a difficult campaign ahead.
One certainty is that Leeds need top-class players, but it remains to be seen if Quinones is indeed one of those players, with the transition to Premier League football definitely not an easy task.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are said to be “confident of success” in their appeal against paying Jean-Kevin Augustin £24.5million.
