Leeds United transfer talks claim made as West Ham United and Aston Villa eye Tyler Adams move
Leeds United will be having internal talks with Tyler Adams in the coming weeks amid interest from Aston Villa and West Ham, claims Ben Jacobs.
The CBS Sports journalist told Give Me Sport [15 July], that the Hammers are in the market for a midfielder like Adams, as Declan Rice left for Arsenal.
The interest from the Premier League appears to be genuine in the United States international post Leeds’ exit.

Jacobs said, “I think that there are Premier League suitors very seriously looking at Adams.
“I would keep one eye on West Ham United, who are obviously in the market for that kind of player. And I think that Aston Villa are also another club to watch very seriously in this as well.
“Because Adams has come back from injury and because the new manager has come in, there’ll be a lot of internal talks over the coming weeks now to understand his future and Leeds’ plan.”
Must keep him
If there’s one player that Leeds have to keep at all costs, it is Adams, given how important he is not just on the pitch but off it too.
The American is a leader and is a crucial presence to have in and around the dressing room.
He’s also a quality player and was among the better midfielders in the Premier League last season which is why interest from the top flight comes as no surprise.

Daniel Farke will play a crucial role in the player’s future and it remains to be seen whether or not he can convince him to stay.
Adams knows that if he wants to leave, there are clubs in the Premier League that will be more than happy to secure his services.
Hopefully, the Whites can fend off interest from Aston Villa and West Ham and successfully keep him at the club.
In other Leeds United news, the club have been handed a boost to sign a Manchester United player this summer with Erik ten Hag likely to sanction his exit.
