Leeds United transfer news: Tyler Roberts set to seal £750k Birmingham City move within days
Leeds United are in talks to sell Tyler Roberts to Birmingham City with the West Midlands outfit looking to complete the deal early next week, according to the Daily Mail.
The Welsh international, who temporarily swapped Elland Road for Queens Park Rangers this season, featured 20 times for the West London outfit, scoring four goals but is now looking to move elsewhere.
Athletic journalist Phil Hay revealed on 15 June that the 24-year-old he will be leaving Elland Road permanently after spending a year on loan at QPR, and Birmingham City have emerged as favourites for his signature.

And according to the Daily Mail [15 June], talks are continuing between the two parties, with negotiations expected to accelerate over the weekend.
It’s understood the fee could be around £750,000 plus add-ons for the 24-year-old who is now looking to call time on his five-year stint at Elland Road.
Time to depart
There was a time when Roberts was one of Leeds United’s most important players under former boss Marcelo Bielsa. How big a difference a couple of years in football makes.
Roberts has endured a frustrating couple years, ravaged by injuries countless times throughout his career. It was because of his constant injury troubles that terribly affected his form in a Leeds United shirt, stopping him from performing at a high level regularly.

He even looked to kick things off steadily at Queens Park Rangers last season also, but for a worrying injury setback, he simply could not build on a promising start in West London.
The 24-year-old clearly needs a new lease of life elsewhere and hopefully, he can get that at Birmingham City who are desperate for a striker this summer.
With Leeds United now a Championship side also, don’t count out Roberts returning to Elland Road to cause a real stir at some point next season. An intriguing sub-plot certainly on the cards from the footballing gods.
In other Leeds United news, Newcastle United want to sign one Whites man to help unleash Bruno Guimaraes.
