Rangers have reportedly submitted a transfer bid for Leeds United and Bournemouth target Bright Osayi-Samuel who’s plying his trade at Fenerbahce.
According to Sporx, the SPFL side have taken the first step towards signing the Nigeria international but the Turkish club’s response has not been shared.
Turkish media outlet Aspor [28 May] that Leeds have been in talks with his agent and that the 25-year-old will cost £8.7million this summer.
Interesting
Gers look to be very keen on signing the right-back cum right winger this summer and it remains to be seen how much they’ve offered.
Despite Leeds being a Championship side, they can match the top two SPFL clubs for transfer fees and if they’re interested in the Nigerian, then can sign him ahead of Rangers.

However, it’s interesting to see reports of them being in talks with the 25-year-old’s agent as there’s nobody who’s officially taken up Victor Orta’s position.
The former sporting director was shown the door shortly before the sacking of Javi Gracia and is still to be replaced.
With everything going on with the takeover, Leeds are perhaps not going to be signing anyone until they receive clarity on that.
That being said, Osayi-Samuel is a decent option, especially in the Championship, but Leeds do not need another player in the aforementioned positions as of now.
In other Leeds United news, a BBC pundit has been left stunned as Phil Hay has dropped a fresh update on who the Whites are considering to bring in as manager this summer.
