Leeds United transfer news: Feelers being put out as Tyler Adams linked with Aston Villa
Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams is reportedly on the radar of Premier League clubs this summer, including Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.
According to former Eurosport journalist Dean Jones, the Villans are probably putting out feelers to check on the American post his season-ending injury.
That being said, he does not think that they will be signing the 24-year-old this summer.

Speaking to Give Me Sport on 16 June, Jones said, “I think Tyler Adams is someone they’ve looked at, I think the feelers are still being put out, and to check up on an injury he’s had and like how bad that’s actually been and how long he’s gonna be out.
“But the style of his play is interesting. I’m not convinced it’s one they’ll go ahead with, but certainly it’s a player that would fit what they’ve been looking for.”
Interest heats up
Aston Villa are not the only top flight side that’s keen on signing the United States international as there have been links with Nottingham Forest as well.
They’ve held meetings on their transfer strategy for the summer and Adams’ name has featured on their wishlist.
It’s been reported that any deal for the permanent exit of the 24-year-old this summer would cost £30million, per Bolavip.

With Villa qualifying for Europe and Nottingham Forest showing that they can spend top dollar on new signings, Leeds could even look to up his asking price in the hope to spark a bidding war.
That’s undoubtedly if and only if he wants to leave as the new manager surely would want to keep his best midfielder at the club.
It remains to be seen if whoever walks through the door to take over the Elland Road hot seat can convince Adams to stay for another year.
In other Leeds United news, a BBC pundit has been left stunned as Phil Hay has dropped a fresh update on who the Whites are considering bringing in as manager this summer.
