Leeds United transfer news as Mateusz Bogusz exit on verge
Leeds United loanee Mateusz Bogusz is on the verge of joining Los Angeles FC, with the MLS outfit set to get the deal over the line soon, according to Mo Ibrahim.
Reliable journalist Tom Bogert shared on Monday [20 March] that the Whites were in advanced talks to sell the young midfielder to the MLS giants.
Spanish journalist Matteo Moretto shared on Tuesday [21 March] that only the minor details of the deal remain, with Leeds expecting to “receive a good amount for his transfer.”
Ibrahim who is part of Sky Sports Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio’s staff, took to his own Twitter account [21 March] to report that French and Spanish clubs were interested in Bogusz but it looks as if Los Angeles FC are “set to get the deal over the line soon”.
Inevitable
The youngster’s switch from Ibiza to LAFC looks almost 100% completed, with Ibiza currently struggling in Segunda Divison, sitting second bottom in the table.

Bogusz has been a regular for the Spanish side in recent times, but clearly wants a new challenge after almost two seasons and nearly 50 caps at Ibiza.
That doesn’t appear to be at Elland Road, having only made three senior appearances for Leeds upon his move to the club in 2019. A move away from the club has always been inevitable for the versatile attacking midfielder with a deal looking suitable for both parties, and a new venture in the MLS could very much kickstart his career again.
And with Bogusz undoubtedly eyeing a place in the Poland senior squad after representing his nation at various youth levels, he may well still have a prominent career to come at international level too with the Pole national coach Fernando Santos already turning to the American League for players.
In other Leeds United news, Ben Foster was blown away by one Whites player in the recent league victory at Wovles.
