Leeds United transfer news as Kris Moore returns from Dubai, exit on cards
Hibernian manager Nick Montgomery has yet to make a decision on the transfer of Leeds United youngster Kris Moore after the defender joined his squad in Dubai.
Moore has been an extremely exciting talent at Elland Road, having come through the club’s academy. However, with no real experience of first-team football, the defender has been training with Hibs during the winter break.
Sky Sports has since reported that Moore has returned to West Yorkshire, with a loan exit still on the cards in the final couple of weeks of January.

“We spoke to Leeds and they allowed Kris [Moore] to come on the trip [to Dubai]. Right now, we can’t really say what will happen. But he’ll go back to Leeds when we return,” he said via Sky Sports on Monday (15 January, 11:12am).
A chance to prove himself
With over a century of combined appearances at Under 18, Under 23 and academy level for Leeds, the staff at the club will know exactly what the player is capable of.
But without any senior appearances on his CV, Moore cannot make that final step up to men’s football and play under Daniel Farke in the first team.

Hibs in the Scottish Premiership would offer him the chance to learn and develop in a decent-quality league while learning from veterans, such as 543-game left-back Lewis Stevenson or 542-game Paul Hanlon.
The fact that the 20-year was able to go away with the Scottish side to Dubai is a really good sign during the January transfer window, with many hoping that the two clubs can come to an agreement on a loan deal.
If Moore is to become the defender that Leeds wants, he is in desperate need of an extended period away from Elland Road where he can gain experience and experience the highs and lows of football.
