Leeds United transfer news as free deal on cards for Ryan Manning
Leeds United now want to sign Swansea City defender Ryan Manning this summer, according to Football League World.
The online source has reported on its website that the Whites want to sign the left-back whether they are in the Premier League or Championship next season.
As it stands, Manning is set to leave Swansea when his contract expires at the end of the month with no agreement reached with the Welsh club as of yet.

The defender recently won the Player of the Year award for the Swans, although that doesn’t appear to be enough to make him stay at the club.
Leeds could take advantage with a deal that would see them pick up Manning for free, a player who created the most clear chances in the entire Championship.
Left-back has been a real problem area for years now since Ezgjan Alioski left, with Junior Firpo and Pascal Struijk both stinking in the role.

Needed.
This would be a bargain deal, and it could solve a real issue.
Leeds are on the verge of dropping into the Championship next season, and some smart moves will need to be made, especially after the inevitable player sales.
Manning, who is proven as one of the best in the division, could arrive for nothing and bring his expertise into that role, something that has literally been missing for years.
Marcelo Bielsa, Jesse Marsch, Javi Gracia and Sam Allardyce have all failed to find an answer in that role, with two of them being forced to use either Firpo or Struijk.
Realistically, both of those players are nothing short of garbage and it blows us away that not one real signing has been made in that area since Alioski departed.
It may take dropping out of the Championship to achieve it, but Leeds may have finally found the answer to one of the longest dilemmas we have seen at Elland Road.
