Leeds United transfer news as Fabrizio Romano shares documents update as Bournemouth eye Luis Sinisterra

Fabrizio Romano has issued an update on Bournemouth signing Leeds United attacker Luis Sinisterra as the transfer deadline passes.

The Sky Sports journalist reported that the final documentation work is being finalised before an announcement is made and then went on to claim that it’s all done.

This means that a deal sheet was in as it was already past the 11pm deadline and an announcement was not made yet.

He said on Kick at 23:05, “With Sinisterra to Bournemouth, they are finishing final documents. I’m told they are trying to sort out the final things. Looks like everything will be fine.”

A few minutes later, he then said, “Luis Sinisterra is a new Bournemouth player. Done deal on loan.”

He then took to Twitter to say, “Luis Sinisterra is new Bournemouth player. Done right now. All good. Loan move completed.”

Unfortunate

There appeared to be a moment of respite for Leeds as it looked like they may be keeping a hold of the Colombian.

Sinisterra was signed for big money last season and despite his injury concerns, he showed the fans what a classy player he was.

He arrived at Elland Road with not too much fanfare but quickly became among the fans’ first names on the teamsheet.

Thus, losing him will be a huge blow for the Whites and it’s on loan so they won’t even get a decent amount which they could’ve planned to reinvest.

It seemed he would stay, especially with Daniel Farke reintegrating back into the team but that did not happen either.

Unless there’s yet another twist, he now appears to be destined for the Vitality Stadium for the rest of the season.
