Leeds United transfer news as 48 hour timeline emerges in Alexander Nubel pursuit – Sky Sports
Bayern Munich want to make a decision on Leeds United target Alexander Nubel in the next 48 hours, Sky Sports Germany reported on Friday (21 July).
The Elland Road club are prepared to offer £8million for the 26-year-old goalkeeper this summer, according to Bild (19 July).
But as noted by Sky Sports Germany, Bayern chiefs are close to accepting a one-year loan option for Nubel from Stuttgart.

“According to information from Sky, FC Bayern Munich wants to make a decision in the next 48 hours on how to proceed with the 26-year-old goalkeeper,” as per Sky Sports Germany.
“The Bayern bosses are currently tending to accept VfB Stuttgart’s offer of a one-year loan with no option to buy.”

Out of the running?
Leeds are definitely in need of a new goalkeeper this summer, with the future of Illan Meslier very uncertain and with Joel Robles having left the club upon the expiry of his contract.
And Bayern ace Nubel would definitely be a superb option, but like many Leeds targets, he could be a difficult man to bring to Elland Road.
Whites boss Daniel Farke will be eager to sign a new goalkeeper as soon as possible, with the new Championship campaign rapidly approaching.
But it seems that the German could be unlucky in this pursuit, with Bayern perhaps wanting to be able to keep a closer eye on Nubel next season, which could be done if he stays in the Bundesliga with a move to Stuttgart.
It will also be a higher level of football for the 26-year-old, who may yet have a future at the Allianz Arena, particularly if he can impress in the months to come.
In other Leeds United news, one Whites attacker is “in the sights” of a Serie A club in the summer transfer window.
