Leeds United transfer news: £6.8m update emerges as Diego Llorente meeting held in London with loan move discussed
Roma club director Diego Llorente reportedly meet with the Leeds United officials to discuss the terms of Diego Llorente’s transfer.
According to Corriere Dello Sport [17 June, Page 12], Pinto was in London this past week and met with the Whites on Thursday, 15 June.
Leeds rejected the possibility of him leaving on loan but a permanent transfer in the region of £6.8million is on the cards this summer.

Too little
Llorente moved to Roma on loan in January and the feeling then was that he will be purchased permanently if he did well
That’s why an option to buy was included which according to the Daily Mail is £18million.
What Roma are offering now is nearly a third of that price and they’re appearing to take advantage of Leeds being in the Championship.

Pinto flew to the United Kingdom to have face-to-face talks with Leeds and that shows that Mourinho is eager to get this one over the line.
Had Leeds been in the Premier League, their negotiation power would’ve been a lot higher than it currently is.
However, that does not mean that they can settle for a lowball price and must do everything they possibly can to get the best deal.
In other Leeds United news, a BBC pundit has been left stunned as Phil Hay has dropped a fresh update on who the Whites are considering bringing in as manager this summer.
