Leeds United transfer development emerges as Tyler Adams ‘not agitating’ for Elland Road exit

Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams is “not agitating” for a move away from Elland Road this summer, according to TEAMtalk.

The publication reported on its website on Thursday (3 August) that the player’s main concern is getting back to full fitness.

The USA international missed the last 12 matches of the most recent Premier League season due to hamstring issues.

“TEAMtalk understands that the star is not agitating for a move away from Elland Road this summer,” the publication stated.

“His main concern, at this stage, surrounds returning to fitness with the midfielder still not fully recovered from his hamstring issues.”

Adams was a hugely important player for the West Yorkshire club last season, playing almost every minute possible in the Premier League before his devastating injury blow.

The Whites really missed their midfield maestro as the club were slowly but surely consigned to the Championship in May.

It could really have been a different story at Elland Road had Adams been fit, but there is no time to speculate such matters as the new season rapidly approaches.

Again, however, it looks like the USA star will not be available when the Whites kick their Championship campaign off against Cardiff City on Sunday (6 August).

His injury struggles are, of course, a massive blow to manager Daniel Farke, but they may just prove to be a blessing in disguise if the midfielder chooses to focus on his recovery as opposed to an Elland Road exit.

Once he does eventually recover, Adams will have a key role to play as the Whites try and gain promotion to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
