Leeds United to table £8.2m bid for Fenerbahce winger Bright Osayi-Samuel
Leeds United are preparing to make a £8.6million offer for Fenerbahçe’s Nigerian winger Bright Osayi-Samuel, according to Turkish journalist, Osman Cengiz.
According to Aspor (29 May), the former QPR winger wants to return to English football after a year and a half in Turkey.
It’s understood that Leeds are now preparing to make an official offer for the 25-year-old Nigerian, who is contracted to Fenerbahce until 2025 (Osman Cengiz, 13 June).

Electric
The winger certainly has an element of excitement in his game. He’s previously been impressive for QPR in the second tier and is potentially regretting moving to Turkey.
He should have stayed in the Championship and progressed his career further in England before deciding to look elsewhere. For Leeds, this would be an astute piece of business. He could well be picked up for a minimal fee and would provide proven experience.
With the 49er now in charge smart footballing decisions need to be made to ensure Leeds make an immediate return to the Premier League.

Sometimes, top-flight players are not best suited when it comes to a long and arduous Championship campaign. Leeds need players who have been there and done it before – the former QPR man certainly fits the bill.
This could well be one to keep an eye on as the transfer window progresses into its latter stages.
In other Leeds United news, a BBC pundit has been left stunned as Phil Hay has dropped a fresh update on who the Whites are considering bringing in as manager this summer.
