Leeds United to complete Diogo Monteiro transfer on Saturday as January deal imminent
Leeds United are likely set to confirm the transfer of Servette defender Diogo Monteiro on Saturday 28 January, according to Tribune De Geneve.
The Swiss outlet has reported on its website that the young enforcer will commit to the Whites in the coming days, with the most likely date of his 18th birthday over the weekend.
As well as this, Leeds are said to have agreed to a sell-on clause for any future sales away from Elland Road for the Swiss club to benefit down the line.

Monteiro is said to settle down sooner rather than later, as Leeds continue their talent programme in welcoming young players to Thorp Arch.
The young defender will undoubtedly start with Michael Skubala’s under-21s with the idea of proving himself and then making the jump into the first team.

Talent.
Orta is always in overdrive in each passing window for Leeds.
As well as numerous big-money first-team arrivals, the Spaniard is spearheading the academy with new talents arriving at every single opportunity.
Just looking at the first-team, lower-cost players such as Sam Greenwood, Joe Gelhardt, Crysencio Summerville and Wilfried Gnonto have all made crucial contributions over the past two years.
Leeds aren’t stopping there though, and defenders have been targeted with the likes of Charlie Cresswell continually linked with an exit during this month.
That would not be welcomed by fans, but the arrival of more competition to get into that first-team next season will not be appreciated by other young options.
Monteiro will be a couple of years away from that though, even if he explodes in West Yorkshire, so hopefully, this build for the future does not affect anyone else.
This one should be done within 48 hours.
