Leeds United to assess Marcelo Bielsa’s future in summer – Michael Bridge
Michael Bridge has admitted he wouldn’t be surprised if Marcelo Bielsa left Leeds United at the end of the season.
The Whites have struggled all season and find themselves in the midst of a relegation battle, sitting in 15th place in the Premier League just five points off the drop zone.
Sky Sports reporter, Bridge, believes the club will assess Bielsa’s future at the end of the season.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “It wouldn’t surprise me, he looks tired, but I’m sure they’ll assess it at the end of the season.”
The report comes after Bielsa admitted after the Manchester United defeat: “No-one can stay at this level if they cannot guarantee 100 percent enthusiasm – that’s players or coaches” [GOAL].
Surely not
Things have been bad for the Whites this season but for the club to sack Bielsa would be absolutely ridiculous.
He is much more likely to make the decision to walk himself rather than being forced out the door and rightly so.
This season has been harder than any other season probably in history and that without Leeds competing with the psychological barrier of second season syndrome.

The owners aren’t stupid enough to sack the Argentine and will hopefully understand how difficult this season has been for everyone at the club.
There might be some question marks if they go down but that is highly unlikely. Ensuring Premier League survival will surely guarantee Bielsa’s safety.
The grass definitely isn’t greener on the other side and there aren’t many better managers in world football than the one currently in charge at Elland Road.
With that being said, this is the boss’ longest spell at any club which could be a factor in how frustrated he has come across this season – aside from the obvious poor form.
Next season is likely to be make or break for his Leeds future but one thing is for sure, he will always be a legend.
