Leeds United to appoint three former Norwich assistants along with Daniel Farke as manager
Daniel Farke’s three assistants Eddie Riemer, Christopher John and Chris Domogalla are all expected to join the German at Leeds United, according to The Guardian.
As the wait goes on for the 49ers takeover from Andrea Radrizzani to be made official following ratification from the EFL, which Phil Hay has noted was delayed primarily by the two parties on either side of the deal rather than the league, an announcement of the next manager is still absent.
According to the Guardian report there is a “distinct possibility” Farke’s unveiling could come earlier, after he overcame Scott Parker and Patrick Vieira, with the latter now on the cards for the Strasbourg job, and when he does come in his regular team will join him.

Louise Taylor reports: “The 46-year-old German parted company with Borussia Mönchengladbach at the end of last season and is expected to be joined in West Yorkshire by his long-term assistants Eddie Riemer, Christopher John and Chris Domogalla.
“That quartet worked together at Carrow Road, subsequently joining forces at Russia’s Krasnodar before returning to Germany with Mönchengladbach.”
Can’t come soon enough
All the indications now are that Leeds United have finally settled on the man to replace Sam Allardyce, and his trusted team will accompany him to Elland Road.
That is the news that most supporters want to hear, but they would certainly like to hear it via the club as well amid an increasingly excruciating wait.
Official processes take time, so just as the 49ers and Radrizzani agreed a Premier League-level sale and got it cleared with the top flight in plenty of time they should have done the same for a relegation scenario.

They didn’t, so here we are. Quite what can informally be worked on in the mean time and what requires official contracts to have been signed and registered is a complicated scenario that the club would likely prefer to avoid, but the players’ return is imminent now.
Paraag Marathe and Angus Kinnear have been continuing in the central roles they already had so it is clearly not a matter of everything having been entirely on hold, and if Farke has been chosen he will surely be having an input now too.
But it makes it awkward to say the least for all parties to be waiting around for a technical process to be completed before they make matters public, but such is the way at Elland Road over the past year or so that nothing is simple.
Slowly but surely the major questions that were left hanging as the club dropped out of the top flight on 28 May are getting answered, even if they could and surely should have been some time ago.
In other Leeds United news, one first-team exit has now been “confirmed” as the Elland Road exodus gets under way.
