Leeds United tipped to sign Norwich City players as Daniel Farke announcement nears

We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United

Paul Robinson has predicted Daniel Farke to look to sign some of Norwich City’s players when he’s eventually appointed as the new head coach of Leeds United.

According to BBC West Yorkshire’s Adam Pope, the Whites have reached an agreement with the German and that an announcement is now imminent.

Farke previously gained two promotions with Norwich and Robinson has claimed he wouldn’t be surprised to see the 46-year-old target his old club when it comes to transfers.

“Managers do that. A lot of managers go back to their old teams. They have players that they have worked with in the past that they know and trust and they like them in the dressing room,” Robinson exclusively told MOT Leeds News.

“They know they will do a job for them regardless of who comes in, there’s potential for managers to do that and target players they’ve worked with in the past.”

The likes of Max Aarons excelled under Farke at Carrow Road, however, the right-back is seemingly on his way to the Premier League with West Ham United reportedly interested.

Leeds need to strengthen in the right-back area with Rasmus Kristensen in advanced talks with Roma over a summer switch.

In other Leeds United news, the club have been handed a boost to sign a Manchester United player this summer with Erik ten Hag likely to sanction his exit.
