Leeds United tipped for ‘transition’ period amid Elland Road ‘clear-out’
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…
Paul Robinson has suggested Leeds United could well be set for a “transition” period in the boardroom.
The 49ers agreed a deal with Andrea Radrizzani following the club’s relegation from the Premier League and are set to take control at Elland Road.
Robinson believes Angus Kinnear will remain but can envisage a large-scale overhaul during a period of change in West Yorkshire.

“There’s going to be a transition period at Leeds. It would be unwise to have a full clear-out. I think Angus Kinnear could be part of the club for a long time going forward,” Robinson exclusively told MOT Leeds News.
“When the 49ers see and meet him they will understand his qualities and what he brings to the club. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him stay for the long term.”

It’s believed Kinnear could well be set to remain and be a key figure for the ownership for the immediate future.
The Leeds chief has scheduled interviews next week as the board look to step up their pursuit of a new permanent manager. Carlos Corberan and Daniel Farke have emerged as two strong contenders for the vacant at Elland Road (Daily Mail, 6 June).
Scott Parker and Steven Gerrard have also been considered.
In other Leeds United news, Angus Kinnear has been in “ongoing” talks for at least three weeks with new manager candidates.
